UK forerunners in data processing for direct marketing

BaseData was, firstly, Joyce Brum Associates, established in 1987 by our MD, Joyce Brum who developed the concept of specialised data bureau services in direct marketing and advertising agencies.

We contributed significantly during the 90’s to the development of UK and international direct marketing programmes for major multi-national organisations like Intel, American Express and UNICEF.  More recently we have been involved in the bringing together of data for some of the UK’s market leaders in multi-channel marketing.

Joyce continues to develop our computer programs and shares her knowledge and experience with all of our clients – she is highly respected for her uncompromising attention to detail and her innovative problem solving skills.

Creative thinking & technical expertise

Naomi Chapman joined us following many years’ in senior management positions with leading UK direct marketing agencies having worked on a wide variety of major blue chip company accounts.  Naomi instils in our work ethic a strong sense of client service.

We also have internal expertise from the data planning and list broking side of our business and a multi-lingual staff with experience in dealing with foreign names and address formats.
